Adams Peak The Barn Wedding Photographer Hunter Valley – Chantal & Jamie
“From the moment we booked Bryce, we knew we had made the right choice!
He arranged to meet up with us and have a chat about our engagement shoot and wedding and made us feel super comfortable and at ease! Bryce is such a cool, laid back guy to work with and the bonus is he takes AMAZING photos!! The engagement shoot was so much fun and Bryce took stunning shots!! On our wedding day, he was super professional, cheery, laid back and happy, most of the time we didn’t even know he was taking photos!
When we received our photos we were blown away by the amazing quality and sheer volume of awesome images he took of the most important day of our lives!! If we had our time over we would choose Bryce 11/10.”
– Chantal & Jamie Roberts
Adams Peak The Barn Wedding Photographer, Bryce Noone recently photographed the Hunter Valley wedding of Chantal & Jamie. Anthony Bourke, better known as The Hunter Celebrant conducted the wedding ceremony on the lawn at Adams Peak The Barn with Newcastle wedding videographer Tim Salvadori of Lighthouse Films doing the cinematic videography for the day.
Upon arrival to Adams Peak The Barn I made my way to see Chantal and her bridesmaids who were getting ready in the main home on the property. With hair styling by NT Hair & Beauty and makeup by Hannah James Makeup. While this was all taking place Jamie & his groomsmen were out playing golf in the Hunter Valley; like most guys just taking it cruisey and leaving the prep to the final moments of the day. The guests started arriving and filling up the lawn area where the ceremony would be held with breathtaking views across the valley. A wooden arch stood at the end of the aisle styled by the very talented Ella Randall of Promise Flower Co.
Following the ceremony & family photos, the bridal party, Tim of Lighthouse Films and I made our way to The Secret Tree for the bridal portrait session.
The gorgeous golden light wrapping about the hills and the tree made creating images so easy! Once the sun had dipped down behind the hills we all headed to the front of the property, photographing the couple in the long grassy field, on the waters edge of the dam and finally dancing in the middle of the long dirt driveway that wraps up to the reception venue – Adams Peak The Barn.
The reception was lively with great entertainment provided by Jerome O’Connor & Master Blaster. With great catering by Monkey Place Catering and The Snappy Camper photo booth making an appearance also. Overall it was an amazing wedding at such a great venue which I hope to photograph again very soon!!
Thanks Chantal & Jamie so much for having me as your wedding photographer and hanging out for the day!

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR MORE ABOUT THE MOST MEMORABLE DAY OF YOUR LIFE! HOW DID YOU MEET?
We met in 2012 in New Zealand on a contiki tour of all places!! In Christchurch at Bealey’s Speight’s Alehouse. We both organised the trip to New Zealand with our respective friends, as we both had always wanted to go to New Zealand, so it was fate really. The boys joined a week and a bit into the trip and as soon as I saw Jamie, I said to my friend Steph “Ohhhh, he’s really cute!”. I then joined the table Jamie was sitting at and we were both a few drinks in by this time of the night and Jamie was trying to impress me by showcasing the features of his camera (his camera wasn’t that great), and the rest is history!
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?’
On the trip of a life time in Venice on NYE 2016 after the midnight countdown!
TELL US ABOUT THE WEDDING DRESS?
A beautiful white lace dress with sheer and lace sleeves added. The dress also had a feature lace back, which was my favourite part about the dress! :
TELL US ABOUT THE CEREMONY?
A beautiful ceremony outside at Adam’s Peak overlooking the breathtaking countryside with an aisle lined with white rose petals and at the end an arbor adorned with a beautiful floral installation by Promise Flower Co.
TELL US ABOUT THE RECEPTION?
The reception was held inside the amazing barn with fairy lights adorning the ceiling and glittering inside the barn. The reception was filled with our most treasured and loved guests seated at tables with crisp, white tablecloths lined with vases of white roses and lillies and flameless candles by love and protect.
WHAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT?
Jamie- Seeing Chantal‘s beautiful face in the sunlight after just walking down the aisle.
Chantal– Standing at the end of the aisle holding Jamie’s hands and smiling at each other after the whole anticipation and build up, especially from the night before and during the day getting ready.
WHAT WAS YOUR COLOUR THEME AND COLOUR PALETTE IF APPLICABLE?
There wasn’t really a specific colour theme, however we did like just the classic, crisp, white look of white roses, babies breath and lillies everywhere surrounding the barn and ceremony.
