“Bryce was amazing to work with. We had a blast both during the engagement photo shoot and the wedding day. Based on what the photos he produced, you can tell how passionate and creative he is. He was there 200% to make sure he captures the happiness and the love.”

Chateau Elan Wedding Photographers – Andrea & Wayne // On 30th of October I had the opportunity to photograph the Chateau Elan Wedding of Andrea & Wayne.
Every moment of Andrea & Wayne’s Chateau Elan Hunter Valley wedding was perfect! The raw emotion, genuine love shown between all family & friends who were present on the day, it was just exactly what the couple wanted and it was an honour to be part of this.
The day started with Chateau Elan Wedding Photographers myself photographing the Bride prep with Andrea and all her bridesmaids and my second shooter Alberto Gobbato photographing the Groom prep. It came time for the ceremony, so I made my way over to the chapel were Wayne would see his beautiful Bride walk down the aisle. Jacie Whitefield of I Do Bespoke Ceremonies was the celebrant for Andrea & Wayne’s Chateau Elan Hunter Valley wedding.
Jacie announced that the bride had arrived to the Chateau Elan Chapel and everyone stood to their feet, awaiting the moment the large wooden doors at the back of the chapel would swing open and Wayne would see his Bride. When Andrea & her father walked in and made their way down the aisle to the front of the chapel Wayne couldn’t hold back the tears, but his best man was equally overcome with emotion. Such a beautiful moment that really showed how important those people standing up the front either side of Andrea & Wayne really were to them in their lives, and the importance of having them there on the day.
For their Chateau Elan photography portrait session we jumped in golf buggies and explored the property. Heading up to the vineyard first before weaving back slowly towards the reception venue, stopping at various locations on the way. To cap off the night Andrea had organised FIREWORKS as a surprise for her hubby, that would go off after they cut their wedding cake out on the lawn.
Alberto & I having the opportunity to share in the celebrations as Andrea & Wayne’s Chateau Elan Wedding Photographers was amazing!
It was such a great wedding and thank you again for choosing Bryce Noone Photography to capture your Chateau Elan Hunter Valley wedding.

YOUR STORY – Andrea & Wayne Kruze
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR MORE ABOUT THE MOST MEMORABLE DAY OF YOUR LIFE! HOW DID YOU MEET?
Wayne and I met at an online chatroom for people all around the world to meet. People you talk to are chosen by random. That day there were around 11,000 people online and it just so happens that we got connected. As we talked turns out we lived close to each other and were going to the same university.
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
It was a mutual decision to get married. We were so in-love we knew it was the next stage for us. We picked the engagement ring together too. Of course I wanted for him to actually propose and he did try several times but something was always hindering it. He did propose with a speech while we’re in our hotel room holidaying in South Korea (July 2016). It was very sweet, heartfelt and genuine.
TELL US ABOUT THE WEDDING DRESS?
I went for a fitting not expecting to find or buy one after a client from work recommended the boutique. It was meant to be though, because I found an amazing dress which actually made me feel like a Queen. It’s a feeling and a moment I don’t think I will ever forget.
TELL US ABOUT THE CEREMONY?
It was a very emotional and intimate and joyous ceremony. Both myself and Wayne do not like crowds staring at us but it was our wedding so guess we can’t escape that. Thankfully our celebrant was able to make it go smoothly and as less awkward as possible. Our violin and cello duo definitely made the ceremony, what gorgeous music. Now, whenever we hear what they played, it takes us back.
TELL US ABOUT THE RECEPTION?
I don’t think I’ve ever had as much fun as our reception. It was hectic and I actually don’t remember as clearly as I should, what happened 1/3 of the time and it wasn’t due to alcohol. It was because I felt like I was in a thousand places at once. Wayne on the other hand had fun catching up with everyone and drinking. It’s a WIN-WIN for him. I do know that everyone had fun and the food was delicious!
WHAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT?
FIREWORKS! That was money well spent and super memorable. We felt like we were in a fairy tale and it just made the night extra magical. Definitely unforgettable. Runner-up though, was all the fun the bridal party had with Bryce and our videographers during the post-ceremony shoot! Lots of silliness, laughs and sore feet due to the high heels!
WHAT WAS YOUR COLOUR THEME AND COLOUR PALETTE IF APPLICABLE?
Light and spring-y! Lots of cream and soft hues for pops of colours like pastel pink, blue, green. We wanted everyone to feel like they’re in a dream.
