“We absolutely loved having Bryce for our big day! After meeting him and shooting our engagement shoot,
we clicked with him right away (especially the bro-mance between my husband and Bryce lol) we knew that he would be our photographer!
“Bryce was so relaxed on the day and just blended in so well! He captured every emotion perfectly.
He knew me and Jie weren’t into posey/clichè stuff and that we were happy to give him freedom to just be creative and have fun!
Our photos came back absolutely beautiful, and everyone loved them!
Can’t wait to hang them up and treasure them forever.
We would like to thank you for your amazing work and hope to have you in the future for when these ”twins” come along!”

Wedding Photographers Hunter Valley / Maddies of Bolwarra Weddings Hunter Valley
Maddies of Bolwarra in the Hunter Valley is such an intimate venue for smaller sized weddings and it was the perfect fit for Madelynn & Jie’s Hunter Valley wedding.
Madelynn & Jie first contacted me quite some time ago, we met up and did an engagement shoot in amongst the pines at Olney State Forest.
Here’s the images from their engagement session – http://www.brycenoonephoto.com/newcastle-engagement-photographer/
After hanging out with these guys I just knew that their Maddies of Bolwarra Wedding in the Hunter Valley was going to be nothing short of fun & absolutely freaking awesome!
Come the wedding day both Madelynn & Jie got ready on site at Maddies of Bolwarra wedding venue. Rain & gloomy weather made for a bit of an uneasy bride, with Madelynn second guessing whether to go ahead with the ceremony underneath the large tree on the property or move it to the house.
Luckily less than half an hour before the ceremony was due to begin, the sky cleared up and the sun came out. It was confirmation that the choice to have an outdoor ceremony was the right one.
Hunter Valley marriage celebrant Helen Hising lead the ceremony. Following the Maddies of Bolwarra Wedding by the tree, we made our way in to the lower gardens for family photos, before heading off for the bridal party portraits.
For the bridal party portrait session we stayed on the grounds of Maddies of Bolwarra. We photographed the bridal party images in the barn shed, gardens and fields surrounding the Hunter Valley property.
Below are the images we created for Madelynn & Jie’s Maddies of Bolwarra Wedding.

Thanks again for choosing me as your Hunter Valley wedding photographer!

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR MORE ABOUT THE MOST MEMORABLE DAY OF YOUR LIFE! HOW DID YOU MEET?
About 8 years ago, in September 2008. I had gone on a drive to the singleton show with my two cousins. We were driving around town, when suddenly I spotted a car full of boys and had my eye particularly on the driver (Jie). So I did a U turn and started to follow them, they eventually caught on and pulled over to talk to us. Out jumped Aaron (Jie’s best mate) came up to the car window and said ”HEY, HOWS IT GOIN’ ” .. which then lead to an invitation to a party later that night, and well the rest his history.
So long story short, I stalked Jie and now we’re married LOL
HOW DID HE/SHE PROPOSE?’
It was our 7th year anniversary, and I had come home from working all day… jie had ran me a bath with candles. After having my bath, I came out into the living area to find a trail of candles and rose petals leading to a massage set up. Jie said you’ve had a big day let me give you a massage.. so I layed flat on my belly and he began massaging, and it came to the end of the massage and he was fishing off by massaging my hands, for some reason he stopped on my left hand .. and I asked, what are you doing? Then suddenly I felt him put a ring on my finger and asked to marry me. After I had cried like a baby for 5 minuets I finally said yes and then cried a little more…
After we had settled down i asked where he had hidden that whole time, and his reply was…… on my little toe.ROMANCE!
TELL US ABOUT THE WEDDING DRESS?
I found my dress at Newcastle Bridal House, it was an amazing full lace, long sleeved, low cut back dress that I had visioned way before even getting engaged. I went to several other stores but nothing compared to this one dress!
TELL US ABOUT THE CEREMONY?
Our ceremony was amazing, I wish I could relive it over again.Everything looked so amazing.
We fell in love with the big old fig tree the day we checked out the venue.
The weather was looking daunting but our luck the rain held off all afternoon!
TELL US ABOUT THE RECEPTION?
I’ve got to say the reception was the best wedding reception I’ve ever been to. Not just because it was our wedding either. We wanted it to feel like a big party and by the end of the night everyone was up dancing, every one had a smile on their face and not a single person didn’t enjoy themselves!
Everything looked beautiful, the fairy lights just made it so magical!
WHAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT?
My most memorable moment would have to be walking back down the isle as Jie’s wife. Knowing I did all this with my best friend is all I could ever want 🙂
WHAT WAS YOUR COLOUR THEME AND COLOUR PALETTE IF APPLICABLE?
Our colour theme was burgundy, olive green and dusty pink.
We took inspiration from woodland weddings on Pinterest
